PPP leader Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari on Tuesday actively participated in the election campaign of her brother and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Nation Assembly constituency NA-127 in Lahore.
Addressing a gathering, she highlighted Bilawal Bhutto’s ambitious plan to construct 3 million houses across the country. Asifa said that public welfare programmes such as Kisan Card and Mazdoor Card would be extended across the country if her party was voted to power. She expressed her leadership’s dedication to addressing people’s woes.
After making political promises, she urged the public to support PPP in February 8 general elections. She claimed that her party was the champion for the people’s rights and aspirations.
Addressing the workers’ convention in PP-160 constituency of Lahore, Aseefa said that everyone should get free treatment, adding that public problems were Bhutto’s problems.
She said that her party was building houses for the flood affected people in Sindh, claiming that only the Pakistan People’s Party gave houses to the people. “Vote for PPP on February 8 and give Bilawal Bhutto a chance to serve the public. No power in the world can stop us, together we will change the destiny of Pakistan,” she urged the gathering.
