Rifat Mukhtar replaced, Ghulam Nabi Memon appointed IG Sindh for the second time
Karachi: IG Sindh Rifat Mukhtar has been transferred. Ghulam Nabi Memon has been appointed as the new IG Sindh in his place.
According to source, Ghulam Nabi Memon was the executive director of Taniyat at State Life. Ghulam Nabi Memon was also the IG of Sindh during the previous regime. The notification was issued by the federal government.
It took 21 days to appoint IG Sindh. The Sindh government had sent names for IG on March 4. Ghulam Nabi Memon has been appointed IG Sindh for the second time.
