Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has deferred the intra-party elections that were to be held on February 5.
The party sources said that the intra-party elections would be held right after the general elections.
The sources added that the intra-party elections had been deferred on the direction of PTI founder Imran Khan.
On Feb 1, PTI released a schedule for intra-party elections, according to which the elections were to be held on February 5, Monday.
PTI Federal Election Commissioner Rauf Hassan released the schedule for the intra-party elections.
All registered members of PTI were declared eligible to vote for the panel or chairman candidate of their choice at designated locations across Pakistan.
